Job Summary

Vulcan Fire Protection Services Inc. is seeking a skilled and motivated Fire Sprinkler Fitter to install, service, and repair automatic fire sprinkler systems. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, works safely and efficiently, and can lead a crew when needed.

Responsibilities

  • Install, service, repair, and modify fire sprinkler systems.

  • Read and interpret drawings, plans, and specifications.

  • Lead and direct helpers and apprentices as needed.

  • Perform work safely, efficiently, and in accordance with applicable codes and standards.

  • Troubleshoot system issues and identify necessary repairs.

  • Communicate effectively with customers, project managers, and other trades.

  • Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles.

  • Complete work according to project schedules and quality expectations.

Qualifications

  • Fire sprinkler fitting experience required.

  • Journeyman-level experience preferred.

  • Ability to read construction drawings and sprinkler plans.

  • Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills.

  • Willingness to travel to job sites as required.

  • Reliable, hardworking, and safety-conscious.
